If, whenever the notion of a library crosses your mind, you envision a musty crypt, a silent tomb of impenetrable gloom, a mausoleum-like chamber in which a softly growling stomach provokes instantaneous glares of disapprobation from strict, even severe, Library Authorities, or a casually whispered word evokes immediate commands to “shush!”, you haven’t been to the North Clairemont Library in San Diego.
